I think I might have to keep the picture and words about patience at the top of my blog, as a gentle reminder that the timing I wish for, and the timing that is to be, is not my own.  You would think that after 12 children and many years on this earth :)  I would have learned this, but I REALLY need to be reminded time and time again.  One would laugh if they could hear my words that rumble through my head.
I have said it many times over how one of my favorite proverbs is "Man plans, God laughs"  Over and over I have been the cause of many belly laughs, of that I am sure.

my how time flies

Well, every year I tell myself that I am going to keep up on my blog, not just while completing an adoption.  I mean, my life with my kids keeps us BUSY, with very few breaks, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Funny thing is, I always check in and read other people's blogs, whether it about their journey to a new son or daughter, or pictures and musings of everyday adventures.

Going to post some pictures, since the last time I posted was when I came home from China with Daniel FuBing.  Since then, I have become Nana to the most wonderful, happy, and cute grandson ever.  He is our big joy, and everyone's face lights up when we Skype with him, or just talk about him.

Janine and Derek (Dylan's phenomenal parents) and my oldest baby :)  will both be graduating this summer.  Jainine from law school, and Derek with him MBA. I am so proud of how hard they work to achieve their dreams.  Ryan and Lindsay are still gainfully employed full-time ( a blessing for sure) and Evan is still in the Marine Corp, stationed in North Carolina, where he became a home owner this summer.  Travis will be finished with college this May, and then will complete a semester of student teaching.  He is going to make an awesome teacher.

As for the "Littles"  they bring joy, laughter, and some pleas for a little quiet..lol.  Taylor is a sophomore in high school, it takes my breath away being reminded of how many things she shares with her oldest sister...love of life, school, clothes, shoes, jewelry and friends.  She is still doing gymnastics, both on the high school team and is competing this year as a level 9 gymnast.
Skylar is next, who also loves school, friends, basketball and soft ball.  Unfortunately, she just broke her hand, and will be missing the season :(
Brendan is Brendan...he loves his family, is almost officially a teen...although he has had the attitude for a few years now.  He loves being outside, playing basketball, soccer and hockey..and if you can catch him just right,  is a great helper in the house.
Julia is in girl scouts this year, and enjoying getting to spend some time with her friends.  She started playing the flute, this year, as well.  Hard to believe she will be going to middle school, in September.
Ethan, is a little boy in my dad's body :)  He loves plaid and bathrobes, and LOVES to read. We are so proud of all the gains he has made in school over the past years.  There are such treasures hidden within him.
Mazhu, aka the energizer bunny, keeps us entertained and drained.  He is always on high speed with everything and everywhere he goes.  He is so ready to be back playing soccer, and I hope he can start soon. He had his bone graft surgery done in October, and handled it like a trooper.
Fubing, has been home 15 months, and we couldn't imagine our lives without him.  He transitioned the easiest of all our kids at 101/2 years old.  Were there adjustments, you bet, and there still are some, but on the whole, he has done amazingly well.  He is in 3rd grade, due to his lack of schooling, and this year he is making such strides.  It will be a long road as he catches up, but he loves school, loves to run and ride his bike, and loves to help his dad with whatever he is doing.
